The summers in Denver these past few years have been hot and dry - we'd been in a drought - but not this year, heck no. We've had rain, tornadoes, hail, winds, you name it (no, not snow, not until at least October will the white stuff be back). It's just now starting to calm down with fewer and fewer thunderstorms rolling in the late afternoon. It's a beautiful thing when it's been a 90 degree day and the rain comes, cool everything down just right.
I'm glad that I live in a place with so much to do. The Renaissance Fair, multiple outdoor concert series, Red Rocks Amphitheater movies and such. Colorado just rocks man...no wonder everyone wants to live here. I saw a poll that was done - unfortunately, i don't recall all the details or what mag did the poll - and it said that something like 50% of the people who where approached and asked where they most like to move in the U.S. said Colorado!
Camping here is awesome! I try to go often but this year haven't been able to go yet...boo! I took this pic while camping last year.
